Our Story
Baby That Barks didn’t begin as a business plan. It started somewhere in between eleven years of friendship, very different careers, and one very important baby named Layla.
The three of us have been friends for over a decade. One became a Chartered
Accountant, one studied law and one went on to complete a Master’s in Business.
None of this pointed towards building a pet brand but somewhere along the way, Layla arrived and quietly became the unofficial first child of our group.
Decisions started revolving around her schedules, her comfort, and whether something was actually good enough to use on her. Conversations that once revolved around work and gossip slowly turned into discussions about products, ingredients, quality and why finding simple, fun pet stuff felt harder than it should be.
What began as solving small, everyday problems for one very loved baby
slowly turned into something bigger.
Baby That Barks grew out of friendship, practicality and the kind of care that shows up in daily routines. Our different backgrounds still shape how we build the brand today: thoughtful decisions, attention to detail and a shared belief that good products should just work, without the noise.
Layla, of course, remains our most honest reviewer.
